I am offering this selection of resources as a freebie to give you an insight into the type of resources I create. I am a published author of poetry and short stories. This PDF file will give you an overall picture of the resources which have been recommended by TES and other teachers. I hope you like this and will review my work.

A great resource to use with the children to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. A pdf file for Key Stage 1 which may also be useful for lower ability Key stage 2 or SEN. The 20 worksheets can be printed out separately and used for differentiation or as an entire booklet to let the children take home. There are a variety of writing and drawing tasks for literacy. Acrostic poems, quizzes, alphabetical order, true or false, creative writing, finding words, similes and research from books or the internet. A great resource to celebrate Ireland's saint.

Great resource for KS1 themed St Valentine's Day. Reading, writing, and drawing activities which can be printed out as a complete workbook for the entire day or as individual worksheets. Comprehension on a party invitation, writing sentences, poems, verses, words and meanings, common and proper nouns.

A fun start with these fun activities for emergent readers and writers in KS1. The powerpoint can be used to model reading and writing to the whole class and the pdf file can be printed off as individual worksheets. This is the third in the series of My Colour Books for Early years and KS1 children. It is themed for Summer with colourful graphics. The tasks are to complete sentences using the correct colours, visual awareness is important and recognition of colours essential. There are also two wordmaps which could be laminated one on Seaside words and one on colours. These could be used as aids for writing ecxercises. The children will also be asked to complete some reading activities putting in a missing colour word, this will test understanding of what has been read. This can also be bought as part of a bundle.

This is a 20 page resource aimed at Year 1 and less able Year 2 on sentence construction. Each page consists of a picture and the children have to create sentences to include either an adjective, a verb, two nouns or a Proper Noun. The final two pages test the children on recognition of the parts of speech in their own sentences.

This PDF File and presentation will be very useful to KS1 as an assembly idea or as a class story linked to fables as there is a moral in the story. The two characters in the story are a spider and a little bug, the setting is in a cornfield. The bug warns the spider that the farmer will be coming soon to gather the crop. I won't tell you the rest as I don't want to spoil it for you! The story is adapted from one I read and I have rewritten it myself in child friendly vocabulary. There are a set of discussion questions which will be good for talking and listening sessions after the children have either read or heard the story.

For Science Week and Spring this is a must for KS1 and KS2 pupils. A 20 page resource with drawing and writing activities, a word mat, fact sheets for individuals, groups or displays comprehension activity, missing words, why are plants important to humans, which part of plants do we eat, pollination and insects, seed dispersal activity and some fun activities to keep children motivated.

This pack includes two mini workbooks covering two different poems. The first poem is titled 'Mrs Bear' and the second 'Farmyard Friends'. Both poems are original poems written by me. The pack includes questions and other activities. This is an ideal pack for KS1 or Lower Key Stage 2.

This is an original poem written by me about a seaside town in Victorian times compared with the town today. It has previously been published as a stand alone poem but not with worksheets included. the worksheets involve comprehension, Spag,internet research, historical facts and drawing conclusions. it is suitable for KS2 or upper KS1.The worksheets allow for differentation or can be printed out as an entire workbook. This resource would link well with a Victorian topic.

This Pdf file consists of 10 poems written by me. It also includes tasks relating to poetry terminology, types of poetry and analysis of poem This is an entire unit of poetry for one term and is suitable for KS2.

A resource of 21 slides for EYFS and KS1 on the Frog Life Cycle. These are in colour and repeated in black and white for printing individual booklets and for display in the class room. There are pictures of the various stages with a relevant sentence, word bank and question sheets. There is a powerpoint presentation included for classroom use, talking and listening and discussion.

This PDF file is for KS1 and SEN to develop creative writing. I have written 18 original story prompts relating to summer. Each page has the prompt and a colourful picture to stimulate ideas. These can be laminated and kept for use for groups or individual children. I have also included a powerpoint presentation which can be used with the whole class for modelled writing.
